With this weekend passing, so has the third out of three conventions that I was attending this year, Animethon. And as I had hoped and predicted it was every bit a blast it could have been. Partly because of the people I got to be with--seriously it was an awesome bunch of people to spend a con with.
Headed out on the friday--stayed until sunday--more hanging out at West Edmonton Mall on the monday--pure awesome win weekend.
Was in my Medusa cosplay again--Which I'll nab up some pictures of and post at a later date.
Didn't spend nearly as much money as I thought I was going to--but I guess that happens when it's the third con you're rolling into. Most of the big ticket items (IE-DVD box sets) I had already purchased at the Calgary con.
Picked up these swell little Haruhi bunny girl nendoroids--These things are OLD. It's amazing how far Good Smile's nendoroid series has come along. The joints are loose, they're way more top heavy than they are now. Even the molding and paint job has come along way---Mikuru has these strange little protrusions coming out of the bottom of her head. lol
I think just because they feel so ancient compared to say--my Zetsubou Sensei nendoroid--that I love them best of all my purchases.

Canada day yesterday--also my sister's birthday--ended up being a lot of fun. Went to West Ed, watched the movie UP---which is rather depressing, cute, but sad.
Also---my parents bought a couple of Puppies. Which are cute as buttons. And rotten. And filled with far more energy than is good for my brain.
Also bought myself a shiny new Intuos 4 of the large variety. So much love in a flat surface~
And as is always the case, some WIPs because I can.
